Terms & conditions

1. The promoter of the prize draw is Dublin Express of Corballis, Dublin Airport, Co. Dublin (“Dublin Express”).
2. This prize draw is open to all residents of Ireland and Northern Ireland aged 18 or over, except for employees of Dublin Express and its group companies, their families and agents or any third party directly associated with administration of this prize draw.
3. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
4. All entries must be submitted via the Dublin Express Instagram account.
5. The prize draw runs from Wednesday 1st December 2024 and closes at midnight on Thursday 12th November 2024 (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after this time will not be valid.
6. Winners will be drawn on the day of each giveaway, with the individual winner being drawn at random.
7. The winner will receive a prize of:
   1. Cork Hotel (The Dean) Stay (This prize is of a monetary value)
   2. Dublin Hotel Stay (This prize is of a monetary value)

   4. Loop Voucher (One4All)

8. The winner will be notified by the Dublin Express Instagram account from which they entered the prize draw using the details provided by the entrant at the time of entry before the 13th of December.
9. If the winner does not respond to Dublin Express within three (3) days of being notified by email or social media, the winner's prize will be forfeited, and Dublin Express will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
10. Entries must be made by an adult able to travel, entries made by minors will be deemed null and void.
11. While we will aim to provide the prize by digital means, the prize can be sent to the winner by post. Upon request, the winner will therefore need to provide Dublin Express with a postal address to which the winner would like the prize to be sent.
12. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
13. Dublin Express reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Dublin Express’s control makes it necessary to do so.
14. The decision of Dublin Express regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
15. Dublin Express must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, Dublin Express will send the surname and county of the prize winner and, if applicable a copy of their winning entry, to anyone who emails ruth.murphy@nationalexpress.com or writes to Dublin Express at Corballis, Dublin Airport, Co. Dublin (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one (1) month after the Closing Date. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please notify ruth.murphy@nationalexpress.com. In such circumstances, Dublin Express must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
16. By entering the prize draw, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. Dublin Express reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
17. Dublin Express reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
18. Insofar as it is permitted by law, Dublin Express, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Dublin Express, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
19. Personal data supplied by you during the course of this prize draw will only be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
20. The prize draw will be governed by Irish law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
21. No responsibility can be accepted for lost or misplaced entries and incomplete entries will be disregarded.
22. Dublin Express reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.
23. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Dublin Express may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.
24. Dublin Express reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
25. Lost or stolen prizes will not be replaced.
26. By participating in the Dublin Express, participants acknowledge and agree that Dublin Express assumes no responsibility or liability for any risks, injuries, damages, or losses associated with the use, receipt, or enjoyment of any prizes awarded.
27. Prizes are provided "as is," and it is the sole responsibility of the recipient to ensure that any use or participation aligns with applicable health and safety guidelines. Participants are strongly encouraged to exercise due care, review product instructions, and comply with relevant safety standards when using any prize.
28. Dublin Express disclaims all liability to the fullest extent permitted by law. Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of this disclaimer.

Cork Hotel (The Dean) Stay

• This prize is of a monetary value equivalent to a one night stay at the time of purchase. If rates change this prize can be used towards a stay at the aforementioned hotel but will not be amended to meet the price requested on any particular booking date.

Dublin Hotel Stay

Ten Square Hotel – Sunday B+B Voucher

• This gift voucher features a unique reference ID code, may only be redeemed once, may not be exchanged for cash, replaced if lost and is non-transferable or refundable. The gift voucher must be quoted at time of reservation and presented upon arrival when redeeming the experience. No photocopies of the original voucher will be accepted. Advance bookings are necessary and are subject to availability. Cancellation of a booking might render the voucher null and void. Terms and conditions are subject to change. Expiry of the voucher is as per stated by the hotel and on the voucher.
